My only qualm would be with the cleanliness. Staff is always efficient and friendly, and the food is ready in a heartbeat. Unfortunately it's not uncommon to walk in and see a couple untidy tables and/or floor food. Typically not long before a wipe down, but still. #6 Veggie Club with extra hot peppers, no mayo, on wheat bread and a bag of Thinny Chips rocks these socks kids. Solid subs and sandwiches; a notch above Subway in the Island.

It is just 1 sandwich and it took them more than an hour to deliver it. They are not freaky fast.

Considering the Jimmy John's is a restaurant hotspot known for freaky fast food, this location was serving freaking slow food. When I walked in the establishment was completely empty except we're to stop members. One of them was out of breath while preparing one sub that seems to be for takeout. It took her at least three minutes to make it. I didn't know what the other staff member was doing lollygagging around the back but I told him I was there to order. She said you would be right there with me because she was in a hurry to go make a delivery. Of course, she didn't realize that her being late to make a delivery was not my problem. All things considered, I've never seen the Jimmy's staff member make sub so slow. Once the other staff member finally showed up to the front, I told him I was ready to place my order. Because he was starting to take my order he cut me off and asked me to hold on. He ran over to the drive through window and put on the headset. He began taking orders from someone was currently in the drive-through. I was just a bit appalled. The person drove up, he took their money, and close the window to come back to me. I told him that I really wanted to order and leave already. I place my order and waited another 10 minutes to leave with my unwich subs. The only thing he did right was the fact that he cooked fresh meat for us. All in all, this location has no idea what they're doing in reference to fast healthy food

This location is way below average. It's not that I don't like Jimmy Johns in general. Most locations are about 3-4 stars. Those peppers they have are freakin' amazing. The problem is in the time it takes the Pizza Hut next door to this location to take your order, cook a pizza, and deliver it, Jimmy Johns still hasn't left the store! Seriously, I'm less than a mile and a half from this location and it takes 35 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and deliver them! Not only that, but if you ask for "extra" you'll get the regular amount. If you ask for bacon, they'll charge you for it, but you won't get it on your sandwich. If you ask for no mayo on a sandwich that comes with it, it'll be on there! If you pay for hot peppers, they'll forget them. It's worth the drive to the JJ's on Cicero in Alsip. You can drive there, order, get your food, and drive home in less time than it takes to get delivery from this store! Plus at the one on Cicero if you ask for extra tomatoes you get about 9 of them! Forget the Blue Island location. They've screwed up my order and taken too long to deliver it too many times! I just wanted to add, I posted on Jimmy John's facebook page about my experience here, and they apologized and sent me a gift card to make up for it. Great customer service from corporate! I decided to give this location another chance. It again took over 30 minutes. Lesson learned, I'll keep driving to the other location.
